The 1 Field tribe

What connects us all

Exploring the intersection of science and consciousness — through film screenings, discussions, and direct experiences of the methods and practices featured in the films.

During the making of my films, I met scientists, healers, skeptics, and seekers. They often disagreed on explanations, but they shared one thing in common: the courage to explore the unknown. This tribe is an invitation to continue that exploration together.

The 1 Field gathers around a simple, radical question — what connects us, beneath the divisions we so often perceive between ourselves and others?

Through documentary film, open conversation and guided, embodied practice, we move from watching stories on a screen to living the questions they raise — about connection, coherence, empathy and forgiveness.

Tsipi Raz

Award-winning documentary filmmaker

Tsipi Raz is an award-winning documentary filmmaker with more than four decades of experience in television and documentary storytelling. In recent years, her work has focused on consciousness, healing, and the emerging science of human potential.

Through films, live events, and global experiments, she brings together researchers, practitioners, and communities to explore questions of connection, coherence, forgiveness, and the deeper nature of reality. Her films have been screened internationally and continue to inspire dialogue between science and spirituality.

My hope is that participants leave not only with new ideas, but with meaningful experiences, new connections, and a renewed sense of wonder about what it means to be human.

Meet our collaborators

Prof. Dr. Konstantin Korotkov smiling at his desk

Prof. Dr. Konstantin Korotkov

Biophysicist · Inventor of the Bio-Well

A world-renowned biophysicist and pioneer in the scientific study of human energy and consciousness, Prof. Korotkov has published over 200 scientific papers, holds 17 patents and has authored nine books. He appears in three of the documentary films screened during the retreat.

Throughout the week he will conduct real-time Bio-Well and Sputnik measurements, exploring how the retreat’s practices influence both the participants and the local environment — a unique scientific perspective on the experience.

John Stuart Reid

John Stuart Reid

Acoustics researcher · Inventor of the CymaScope

An internationally recognized acoustics researcher and pioneer of cymatics — the science of visible sound and vibration — John has transformed our understanding of sound by making its intricate patterns visible, revealing its role in nature, health and consciousness. He appears in three of the documentary films screened during the retreat.

Throughout the week he will lecture on sound healing and the science of cymatics, conduct live CymaScope demonstrations and real-time measurements, and visualize the effects of sound, intention and the retreat’s practices on both the participants and the surrounding environment.

Michal Shraga Slonim

Michal Shraga Slonim

Trauma therapist · Resilience coach

Michal is a trauma therapist that has been treating both combat soldiers and civilians in the past 3 years of war in Israel. She is a certified resilience coach and has been giving seminars in human development and leadership for the past 30 years.

She has a lead role in the film Field of Forgiveness that will be screened at the retreat. The film is researching the mind body and soul work with the underlying trauma of severe illness.

At the retreat Michal will be teaching how to create heart coherence with meditations and resilience techniques, in order to empower our mental and physical health.

Prof. Aviva Berkovich-Ohana

Prof. Aviva Berkovich-Ohana

University of Haifa · Neuroscience of consciousness

Aviva Berkovich-Ohana is a Professor at the University of Haifa, Israel, and a leading researcher in the neuroscience of consciousness. Her interdisciplinary work explores expanded consciousness, including states and traits related with meditation, psychedelics, near-death experiences, and enlightenment. Her work integrates neuroscience, phenomenology, and contemplative traditions to investigate the nature of consciousness and the post-conventional transformation of human experience. She has published over 80 scientific papers and book chapters, edited the MIT Press volume Perspectives on Consciousness, and has also led meditation retreats, bringing together scientific inquiry with contemplative practice.

During the retreat, Prof. Berkovich-Ohana will present her research at the intersection of science and spirituality. Drawing on cutting-edge neuroscience alongside first-person contemplative experience, she will explore how modern research is illuminating meditation, self-transcendence, and other transformative states of consciousness, offering a scientific perspective on experiences that have long been cultivated and described within spiritual traditions.

Resonance of the Soul

By RE:SET Ensemble

An immersive, multi-sensory musical journey bridging exquisite art and deep vibrational healing to restore the modern soul.

Founded by international musicians and mind-body therapists Yoram Lachish and Rinat Avisar, alongside somatic trauma specialist Dikla Messer, the RE:SET Ensemble masterfully blends world-class artistry with deep therapeutic restoration. Born as a healing response to collective trauma, their signature multi-sensory experience, Resonance of the Soul, combines live music, meditation, and vibration to soothe the nervous system and foster profound emotional healing.

At this retreat, the ensemble will guide participants through this immersive sound journey, culminating in an extraordinary live concert open at sea for wild dolphins — a rare encounter between human music and the intelligence of nature. This once-in-a-lifetime event will be captured live for the upcoming documentary film, Field of Frequencies.

Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I may remember. Involve me and I learn.

The core concept

Our tribe explores how science, consciousness, and shared human experience can help bridge the divisions we often perceive between ourselves and others. Through films, discussions, and guided experiences, participants engage with research and real-life stories that invite a deeper understanding of connection, empathy, coherence, and forgiveness.

The end goal is to move from intellectual understanding to lived experience. Participants may leave with a deeper sense of interconnectedness, greater compassion, and practical tools for cultivating inner coherence and meaningful relationships in their daily lives.
